David Vann is the author of prize-winning novel Legend of a Suicide, Caribou Island and Dirt, as well as three highly acclaimed memoirs. He is Professor of Creative Writing at the University of Warwick and Honorary Professor at the University of Franche-Comté in France. Published in 19 languages, Legend of a Suicide is an international bestseller and has appeared on forty ‘Best Books of the Year’ lists in eleven different countries.
David’s short stories have been listed for the Sunday Times Short Story Award and the Story Prize. His latest novel, Goat Mountain, was published in September 2013. His story collection The Higher Blue is due in 2015.
